Inmate Work Detail

The inmate work details are comprised of inmates who meet a certain criterion. The inmate work details are supervised by POST certified Peace Officers who are employed through the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office. These work details do service throughout the county to include working at county buildings, city government buildings and grass cutting and trash pick-up on roadways.

It is against Georgia law (OCGA 42-5-37) for any individual person to profit from inmate labor. If you qualify (government building) and have a request for service, please email dstroup@haralsoncountyga.gov to make that request to Captain Dustin Stroup.
